Mobo's

Thread Starter
Lets say i have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+, Which motherboard would be the best suited to this? (HIGH- END). And which motherboard would be at the low end? Asus is possible. Because i get confused when buying mobo's, what i need and stuff, they all have similar features but differ in price.

High End: Asus A8N32-SLI

Low End: Biostar TForce 6100

Both boards are great overclockers. Newegg doesn't ship to the UK, but they are just for reference.

DFI's have been known to have some, well, let's say temperament problems (not hot-cold wise. as in attitude) They can be REALLY picky at times.

I say go EPoX 9NPA-SLi. For $140 it's on par with the DFI's and it's a GREAT overclocker. I can get 350 FSB on a stock heat sink. It's a great board for what you get. Low - mid end would be an ASUS A8N5X, which doesn't support SLi and isn't the greatest overclocker.

I had an ASUS. Didn't like them too much. EPoX pwns.
