Lol'd.

Get the Gigabyte 7950, it's called a Windforce IIRC, which has 3 fans for excellent cooling.

Also, heard bad things about that MoBo, I'm sure a Extreme4 would be a better choice?

I got the Extreme4 now it was only $5 more or something like that plus it has front usb ports so that's cool Thanks!

Get the gigabyte 7950, but if it's too much out of your price range, the Sapphire will be fine.

The Sapphire actually coast more but I think the cool pipes on it look why more bad ass than the Gigabyte!
I did notice that the gigabyte had about 50 more on the core clock.
I here lot's of good stuff about the sapphire as well!

Yea they're both good the way I see it just look at benchmarks and the badassery of the looks of the card I suppose. biggrin.gif

Also you're probably better off going with a z77 board because I believe you have to update the BIOS on a z68 in order to get an ivy bridge chip working but seeing as you're getting from microcenter you could just buy it and give it a try and if it doesn't work return it and swap it out for a Z77. Did you wan to go with the z68 because it's cheaper? Anyways for a motherboard i'd reocmmend this one as im pretty sure you can buy it bundled with the 3570k for a discount:

Yea I don't really know if I need a $185 mobo I'm not overclocking anything or nothing fancy like that or dual GPU I'm just buying parts sicking them in the box and trying to have a good time while gaming!

Yea do what I did stick with the stock cooler for a while and when you feel the urge to upgrade install aftermarket cooling and play around with some mild overclocking. The Asrock Extreme4 does mild overclocking like a champ.

Is this a good deal or no? http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1033223
Keep in mind I'm not over clocking or nothing else like that.

If youre not ever going to overclock save yourself 50-100$ and get a cpu with a locked multiplier.

Anyone know what the best LOCKED cpu is to suggest to this guy? Hows that 3470 or 3475S? or is the 3450 better than those 2 in terms of price/performance?
