The long story short is this: If given the choice, Windows 8 would have more users and wouldn't affect any of you guys form using Metro if you so wished it. I don't get the contest or debate here. Why is there even any debate around giving end users the choice to use what they want?

Having the Metro UI, for me, is part of the problem. I much prefer Aero, rounded corners and the lack of Metro. I find Metro to be ugly, cumbersome and unintuitive.

Edit: As far as you know, I am just someone who prefers the desktop that is single minded.
I agree with you that there should be a choice. That was a comment I had made on another thread I believe.
