Are dead pixels noticable? - Page 2

Thread Starter
Alright thanks for the replies. I don't want to have to start another thread so I'll ask here, how reflective is the tempered glass on these monitors? If i were to buy one it would be placed in front of my window.

my 1920x1200 28" monitor has 1 pixel stuck red in the upper right hand corner about 1 inch from the top and 1inch from the side, is it noticeable? sure but when playing a game not really, your focused on the game not the pixel.

Depends on how much light you have in your room, all things being equal glass is glass and can vary from massive to nil depending on lighting conditions in your room. If you have a window directly behind your monitor you might have a huge issue, if you have it to the side and angle the Catleap away from it nearly nothing.

My laptop with 1280x800 has a cluster of 6 or so bright pixels, which are slightly noticable on put white web pages, less so on colored pages and barely noticable when playing a game as said above you really focus on the game more than the pixels. One of my 1920x1080 screens has a few dead pixels and I honestly don't even remember they're there most of the time as they just aren't that noticable.

I always find a bad pixel so yes they annoy me.
