Don't even get me started on OpenOffice or LibreOffice being superior to MS office. Difference being the former two are a joke while the latter is a real productivity suite. Perhaps if the only thing you use Office for is typing term essays, you can get by with them. But to suggest that those programs have anything that can even shake a stick at the advanced functionally of Excel, Outlook / Exchange, Visio or Project (and even OneNote) is just crazy.
