BTW, Thanks for all the replies so far =)

You may as well wait and see what kind of deals will be on.

It may be hard to find a Phenom X4-or X6 CPU. Also, any Black Friday deals may not even include those.

Your best option I would say is to just see what deals are on because you could benefit from either a CPU or GPU upgrade.

You might be able to get a really nice CPU/Motherboard/Ram Combo (Regardless of Intel or AMD it'll be an upgrade)

Thats why I was thinking phenom and 7870/7950 would be the best. i would be getting the best of both worlds. New CPU and GPU. And it wouldnt be very expensive either.

Change it up. The GTS 450 will do fine on 1080P. Just get an I5 and new intel mobo, ram.

No need to worry about the Phenom II series anymore when the new FX Vishera are better in just about every way.

Yeah but current MB wont support it so I would have to upgrade MB,Ram anyway. Would be worth switching to i5 2500k.

There's not a good selection of Black Friday Deals yet.

But an AMD A10-5800K may be a good option for you over a Phenom II.

130$ for the processor and 90$ for a motherboard. 40$ for some Ram, and 200$ for a video card.
Not too bad.
