*Windows 8* No ports will open **HELP**

Hey guys,
Tried forwarding some ports on my router the usual way i forward them.. with no success.
No port is open according to this site... not even 80.

http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/

I use the above site to check success of port forwarding and still nothing.. Ive tried with a different net provider and same thing.. so i'm leaning towards something in operating system.

Please help as i cannot host on Blackops 2 unless my ports open.
Generous REP will be given to anyone that can sole this and i will also give u a fresh CD-key of Modern Warfare 2 or Far Cry 2...Any one of your choice as a bonus biggrin.gif

I think windows Firewall is blocking the ports , here is guide how to do it

http://www.hackingsec.in/2012/04/port-forward-in-windows-8.html

or simply disable the firewall and see if you have those ports open (not recommended)

PS : You can use this tool to see what ports blocked or being blocked by windows

http://www.howtogeek.com/113641/how-to-extend-the-windows-firewall-and-easily-block-outgoing-connections/

Is the port found as open if you directly connect without the router? That should indicate whether it's the OS or the Router.

I already have... in windows and in router firewall...
Seems i found something
> The UPNP device host service.msc in task manager is stopped on all Windows 8 OS.

So it must be set to Automatic and reboot the PC to start the service when Windows starts.

Will advance on my post when i have completed testing....... kungfu.gif

I scanned all common ports and it reported back "no open ports found", although I haven't done anything to open any ports manually so I don't know if any should be open.
