Ouroboros is a slight improvement up to 8200 DPI and an extra two hours of battery life. The mouse is flexible and strips away down two more layers for a personalized feel.
If you in the market for a solid very responsive wireless mouse, it doesn't get better than this one. Not all mice made from a company are good but this one for as wireless go is one of Razer's best mice. It's no FPS mouse but it's the best wireless. thumb.gif
I went back to the wire for best FPS mouse and found it elsewhere.

You forgot to mention the most important part of purchasing a mouse which is comfort. I had used a half of a dozen higher-end gaming mice before upgrading to the Mamba and I was incredibly disappointed with it. I had used the Copperhead, Diamondback, and DeathAdder before the Mamba and I couldn't believe how uncomfortable it was for me. Ended up returning it within a week. Not to mention I've heard many complaints about Synapse, not that it would effect everyone, just making the point.

I still tell people to go to a brick and mortar store to see how a mouse fits in their hands before they buy one. And just because you've used a company's previous mice doesn't mean their new products will be comfortable.

Yeah price is ridiculous too- I don't understand this quest for MOAR DPI... I tore it up for years a plethora of FPS's with a crappy MS 800dpi mouse... really doesn't matter IMO

Even worse i use a wireless mouse now and still tear it up...just don't get it...

What happened to designing a mouse that just works without it having to look like a robot face or a ship as well being a affordable one. They can keep that 124 dollar face looking ship thing that they called a mouse.

I'm surprised it took this long to see this response!

Wireless doesn't really require that much to be used as a wireless mouse. The issue comes into play with wireless gaming mice. I wonder how this is going to perform.

Is this one of their new cost saving mice with no on board memory?

Really? My Mamba will last well over 10 hours with straight gaming. Casual every day use it'll go all day before it needs a recharge. Not that it really mattered since I leave it on the charger every night. Otherwise I 100% agree, best wireless mouse I've owned.

I have been using Razer mice for years. Only ever owned Razer mice for gaming and I had the original Mamba. I love that mouse, still use it in wired mode these days for fps gaming. It''s the most comfortable mouse I've ever held in my life, but it's a little too heavy for Starcraft 2 so for that I use an Abyssus. Overall though I've always liked Razer mice until they Synapse 2.0. It's a deal breaker and I will never buy a mouse with Synapse 2.0. I'll use my current mice to death and then probably look elsewhere for new mice unless they have it all sorted out again by that time.
