Does X6 1090T @ 3.7 bottleneck a GTX 660? I don't like the performance of my card.

It isnt 99% all the time when i gaming.

Use coretemp to monitor CPU usage. If it is above 90% while gaming, it's probably slowing your game.

Fast alt tabbing shows 50-60% of my CPU Usage in BF3.

I wouldn't think so the GTX 660 (none Ti?) is not that fast after all and the 1090T has proved it self to be a very capable gaming CPU. Of course there are games that are very CPU dependant.

Download GPU-Z (MSI after burner works to), Play a game you are having trouble with (with vsync off) and see if you get a steady +90% utilisation on the GPU.

I'm not getting any noticeable bottleneck with my 1090t and my 670 ftw. Try overclocking the NB to 2.8GHz.

BF3 is not a good game to reveal cpu bottleneck, the stress is on the GPU side. Mostly Blizzard games will show bottleneck. Utter sht port games like Skyrim would also show bottleneck.

Agreed. The Thubans (X6s) improve HUGELY from CPU-NB overclocks. A 600-800mhz overclock will yield very noticeable improvements purely from desktop usage, let alone games. Definitely recommend it.
