It's rather lame that they essentially pulled the map after the weekend, especially when they advertised the map quite a bit leading up to the game's release. I know it was largely used for quick leveling, but the couple of games my buddies and I did play on that map were the most chaotic and fun we had with BLOPS 2 thus far. (The fact that an old map from an old game is more enjoyable than nearly every new map is another topic entirely.)

They could (should?) have left Nuketown open with an experience hit. Make all Nuketown games worth 50% experience to keep from the above mentioned "XP whores" from playing it non-stop.

Ironic, considering the description for the Nuketown 2025 playlist was "Nuketown 2025, 24/7, we never close!"

I don't think anything big will come of this, but I'd laugh if huge amounts of pre-ordered versions of the game got returned. Honestly this is just bad business practice IMO, they used it as advertising to draw pre-orders and nowhere did they say it would only be available for 1 week. I have a feeling they may change their minds on this. If it's because of the easy XP in that mode then they should just nerf XP gains a bit while in that map. The game may not be coded for that though, so maybe they'll patch something like that in.
