At the Cambridge meet HivizMan put together an awesome Ln2 starter course which worked really well. Had everyone go from ZERO Sub-Zero experience to benching with a cold CPU and GPU inside of 2 days with a little competition at the end. Was really impressed with that, great to have an experienced Lecturer/Bencher showing the new guys how it's done as well as having the setups ready to go from Gigabyte.

My method at the buxton meet of bunging a lump of copper and some flasks at willhemans and britishbob worked wonders though lol biggrin.gif If there's enough demand for another Ln2 Benching 101 course then I'm sure we can do something smile.gif

Reality: Stock + Auto OC thumb.gif

It should be my goal to make sure every LAN gamer is running XMP on their memory. I was horrified at iSeries due to how many people had bought 2133/2400 and it was running at 1333

Edit: Posted this thread on a few CompSci facebook pages to get interest. Not sure what exams are like around then for uni students, hopefully they'll be able to take some time out smile.gif

I'm tempted. Haven't done any benching for a long time now and it would be nice to go cold again. But if I do make it I wouldn't be able to bring any of my own stuff.

Ian please make that your mission. It really is sad when people spend all the money and don't get any of the performance.

Any chance it could be closer to Reading? smile.gif
