Manchester is pretty central in the UK, moving it to London would possibly limit the members from Scotland and also increase costs of venue/hotels etc.

Finding a cost-effective venue in London is a PITA. I know, I've tried in West London. There's a reason iSeries is held way out in Telford

Ideally we'd get hold of one of the rooms at the ExCeL. They have various from 24 people up to 20000. But there's a reason that only big events (gigs, MCMExpo) go there. Cost.

London prices for the venue for one, the other is expecting participants to accept the London prices for everything in sight. Not the cheapest day out in the world let alone a weekend +

Actually, I'd agree with that. Brent Cross is a PITA. If it was near the M25, like in Hemel Hempstead or Hayes then a 'London' LAN would be ok.

Maybe a group accommodation if people are interested, i can sleep on the floor in a big room

UK Grand Champion LAN+OC meet 2013 Interest check.

I bought two of these because for $7, why not. First of all, these definitely move more air than the fans that came with my Cooler Master case. Furthermore, they move more air than my Cooler Master...

I replaced a loud fan in my Cooler Master Elite 430 with this. The other fan moved about the same amount of air with a far louder, higher RPM (I assume) device. This fan has a cool-looking metal...

Mouse has tracking troubles on multi-coloured pads, If you has small-medium hands it is palm or claw grip mouse. For large handed people only claw, go and buy ec1 if you want to palm.
