CM Storm Spawn disappointment!!

I am very disappointed on the mouse, starting by the drivers.
The drivers' interface is neat, but it freezes all the time when I change the settings and some time they don't take effect. Not only that but my mouse has stopped working occasionally for no reason. Also the "DPI Down" button seems to be stuck , keep in mind that I have been using this mouse for less than 2 weeks. I came from using a very tiny Logitech M305 (1000 DPI), and I can't simply get the same result on the Spawn. 800 DPI feels too low, and 1800 DPI seems to high. I was thinking of going with the CM STORM Xornet which I believe has a 1000 DPI setting on it.

Anyways, I am looking for a mouse of roughly that size, any thoughts?
Budget: $1-70.

The software will freeze when you try to save settings if Google Chrome is open.

Give it to me. I wouldn't have git rit of mine if it worked with the game I played. What kind of pad do you have? Cloth?

It's a good mouse, the problem is minor, and need firmware update.

I have already tried v31 and v32. The LOD is the only main difference between the two. i head something about v60 and v61. where can I get those? (They are not on the CM website)

Also don't forget to apply the tape fix otherwise you will get crazy high LOD.

Alright, I will update to the latest firmware. Also fort he tape fix, I need to use transparent tape right? Does that slow down the precision at all on a cloth pad?
