How far can I push it

Model : Intel Pentium D CPU 3.40GHz [socket 775]

It idles at around 11 degrees Celsius, (liquid cooled, fan on the radiator all the way up). So i overclocked it to around 3.75 ghz, idles around 15 degrees Celsius. During Battlefield 2, it doesn't really go above 25 degrees Celsius, nice and cool.

As i speak, the temperature is at 11 degrees Celsius, voltage at 1.26 volts. The multiplication in the BIOS is 17 x 212. Anyone have any suggestions on how much further I can overclock it safely.

Any other information you need, please let me know =).

Those temps are off by atleast 10 degrees unless you live in Alaska. 11 degrees Celsius is ~55 Fahrenheit. I seriously doubt your ambient is < 55. Anyways, figure out what your real temp is, then we can see how far you can go. Unless your loop is a chilled water loop, your temps are off.

I would suggest looking up the following programs: Motherboard Monitor, Everest Free, Speedfan. All of these proggies can be used to monitor temps. Just remember, the lowest possible temp you can get on water is ambient. Check out those proggies and see if you get some better more accurate readings. Good luck!

Speedfan: System 36 degrees C, CPU 10 degrees C
System BIOS: System 37 degrees C, CPU 17 degrees C
Everest Home: CPU 15 degrees C

Still nothing.. Is it the diode on my mobo?

Sounds to me like your diode might just be reporting off temps. You might consider a bios update and see if that fixes the off temps. I wouldn't feel comfortable suggesting you overclock your cpu until you know for sure what your temps really are.

Updated my BIOS, updated my chipset drivers.. still nothing, 10-15 degrees Celsius idle.

Is it a 800 series pentium d or a 900 series?
