2GB Internal HD Selection

Thread Starter
I'm adding storage to my PC and trying to pick between adding another one of these:

SAMSUNG EcoGreen F4 ST2000DL004 2TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Or Going for this Seagate: Seagate Barracuda Green ST2000DL003 2TB 5900 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare

I can't see any reason why I should stick with the Samsung. It's $25 more expensive, only supports SATA 2 and slower than the Seagate.

Am I missing something here?

thanks!

Probably just a pricing blunder. Also, if you are planning on storing important info on your future drive I URGE you to grab 2 and go raid. I had a 1TB in my pc with about 6 months of web development work (and all my steam/origin backups) fail on me and it was a total nightmare.
I have found that the cheaper drives end up failing easier, but don't take my word on it, just what I have experienced over the past 3-4 years. namely WD Caviar blue and green
