If the batts are toast, you could always hit up a junkyard for some used car batts, might even make it more dependable to have big batts. smile.gif

It shouldn't since I'll only have my desktop and one monitor hooked to it at any given point. I only worry about initially charging the batteries. Bought it as-is and untested. Everything looks good inside, but the batteries could be toast. We'll see!

It should be very easy to rewire. Just take a trip to the local hardware store and show them what you need - bring photos - then $4 in parts and you're done.

That is a Nema L5-30 (locking Nema 5, 30 amp) plug. Go to the local box store and grab a NEMA 5-15. Unscrew the the 30amp guy and put on the 15 amp plug. Black/load to the brass screw, white/nuetral to the silver screw and ground/green to the green screw. If you come down for coffee before you do it I may have a set of plug you can have if you want to make the adapter. I also have some other stuff to give you. :heyyou:

Windows 10. I was having a driver issue somewhere that cause a serious memory leak that would crash games and programs and required me to restart my system ever 2-3 days. I think it was related to my ATI GPU and the drivers. I really didn't like Windows 10 anyway so I'm going to stay with 8/8.1

Do you know if you disabled Win 10 updates?

I didn't think you could but I did tell it to defer some and told it to let me choose when to reboot. But it's already too late. I've already wiped and reinstalled 8.1 I really didn't like all the extra info windows 10 wanted to get from me and I didn't actively use any of the new features to my knowledge so it wasn't really worth it to me. I only upgraded so it would stop bugging me about my free upgrade. If I didn't occasionally play games I would honestly make the switch to Linux for a while. The main reasons I haven't yet are that I do still play games once in a while, I have dual GPUs from both sides of the fence and my I was struggling with remapping mouse keys so that put me off. But I also don't have the time to be messing around with new OS's and tracking down bugs while I'm in school so I'm going back to what was stable and didn't give me headaches.

I have mine stopped. It just tells me updates are required, i click the button then close the window.

Win10 is a pita.
