Removed Bezel on my Acer S231H Monitor

For anyone that may be thinking about doing this... I successfully removed the bezel on my Acer 23" LED monitor. Be aware that the stand is connected to the bezel.

Just use a few small (really small) flathead screwdrivers and pry into the opening in the plastic bezel. Then use one to push down and the other the pry the bezel apart. You must push down at the same time so the clips come apart. I'll post pics if anyone would like to see them. Then you would know the location of all clips....

The transformer and buttons will have to be taped to the back, because the bezel also holds them in place.

Overall this was extremely easy to do and my bezels can easily be reinstalled if needed.

I'm not sure why no one replied... but that is awesome man! Looks like it will be pretty much seem-less once you get them lined up!

That's so awesome, after you took the bezel off would you still be able to mount the display on a monitor stand?

Impressive! Looks like a good setup.

Are you referring to the VESA support? Looks like that's completely gone from the pictures, was a part of the bezel and casing.

Now that is sweet!!!

Ah, would make sense why he went with the 2x4's. Bummer, would have been awesome to mount those on a stand.
