The second res just looks like a res that can support two seperate loops at the same time to me.
Edit: water temperature only varies by a small amount in most loops so that's why I think you're better off with higher pressure than a pump before both rads.

Thanks Mike-IRL... you're probably right. 100% of the respondents to the poll agree with you too!!

I am SEXCITED!!! My RAID card arrived!!!

LSI MegaRAID 9270 8i....

And it comes with calbles!!!!

Would anyone object if I set this puppy up in my signature rig in RAID 0 with my 8 intel 520 SSDs, just to do some 'burn in testing', before I install it in my build? After all, I need to find out if it survied the shipping... my build might take longer than return period.

Again, if nobody objects, I could post some bench results to this build log.. I know that isn's strictly kosher, but if anyone REALLY objects, I can take them down...

ASUS Rampage IV Extreme and LSI MegaRAID 9270 8i incompatibility!!!

So, trying to test my new RAID card in my sig rig, it wouldn't boot... well, it would boot (I could hear the windows boot logo sound), but the monitor was blank!!! Did a major search for others that have had this problem.... nothing on major forums. Tried a few things (OK LOTS of things!!!) and finally found it was a GEN3 PCI-E conflict!!

Through BIOS I changed the PCI-E slots to GEN2, and now at least it boots and I can see things on the monitor... but I can't yet enter the RAID BIOS to configure the card and drives.... more tweaking needed!!!

Subbed! I love retro builds. I am stoked that you picked an old school case, but you should try to find an old DD case (ebay?). I wish I had never sold my DD water box.

Yeah, I saw that in your sig. Lucky you. I tried several times to get another case when they were shutting down, but no-go. I am keeping my eyes open though. The TT case you picked is perfect for the era thumb.gif
