I wish they would release the Boomslang again and not as a limited edition frown.gif

(I hate Optical just because it distracts me when I have to lift the mouse up + I have a glass desk and I hate seeing it reflect)
Infrared is optical, just in the invisible infrared spectrum.

Doesn't look like anything special to me.

No thanks!

Eh, I don't think you have to install the Razer drivers to make your mouse work, though I'm sure you might lose some customizability.

Bought a used/refurbed Razer Imperator, by far the best gaming mouse I've used to date for a claw grip

New ones will REQUIRE synapse 2.0 to make full use of the mouse (aka using any functionality on the mouse rather than the buttons themselves). So, its a waste to buy an expensive mouse if you won't use any software to set it up properly.

I chatted just now with one of Razer's online gamer reps and was told it does not have onboard memory and that currently it's only available in LED green.

Then again, I do have a cloth mousemat, hate hard ones.

I exclusively use cloth mousepads as well. The bottom of all 3 of my deathadders is convex, meaning that the middle of the mouse sags lower than the stock mouse feet. Around the sensor sticker there is a small tooth used for the sticker orientation (I'm guessing) that digs into the mouse pad and rips it to shreds. I've killed 2x QCK+ XL with Deathadders. I should lap my Deathadders so they are perfectly flat =P

I have seen 2 Deathadders that don't do this, but in my experience it's rare.

I really want to buy this (Currently have a DA BE) but the Synapse 2 is holding me back. Gaming Cafes/Tournaments here have no internet so how would I load settings? Can I apply settings without being online?
I'll wait till a GOOD review comes out. I have a feeling they just ruined DA name though...

Hey! They mentioned that it has no drift control!

That means they probably screwed up every other aspect of the DA sensor that made it one of the three perfect gaming mice.

What are the other annoying features of modern sensors? Positive/negative acceleration, angle snapping, prediction, did I miss any?
