Need a little help with a recuring BOSD

Thread Starter
Hi OCN,

I'm reaching the limit of my ideas to fix a BOSD issue.

I don't currently access to the laptop where it is (a Lenovo one...[not my personal choice]).

One of my user sent me this screen:

The 0x7A code is the only constant I can remember, now the last 0xC10 (at the end) is a new thing.

I've all ready update all the drivers
RAM has passe successfully Memtest86 Overnight (+/- 10-12 hours)
Scanned the hard drive with Chkdsk c: /f /r
sfc /scannow passed no issues lately (after drivers has been updated).

We reboot the computer and it will work for a while (can crash 2 to 4 times a day).

Any ideas what I can check or do to isolate / fix this issue?

I'm at 2 fingers to try a Windows Repair but I want to know if there's anything else I can do prior to this.

Thank you for reading me.

personally I find Lenovo to be great laptops and desktops, but to each his own.

Unfortunately Im not a major Guru with BSOD codes (Which I just ewanted to point out is not BOSD thumb.gif )

But do you know if this Laptop is running hot? Heat is and always will be my first fix, make it cooler and see if it happens again.

Otherwise it might be a memory issue?

Memory and Heat issues has been addressed, it can BOSD even at idle.
Heat = 3 hours of Intel stress test
Memory = Memtest86 +/- 10-12 hours

About the Lenovo, I've nearly only heard complain about them; let just say for a first time experience with them it's not helping to get a good view on them.

That's only the thing I didn't check yet, beyond chkdsk.

Have nice trick, tool or command line to check the HDD up?

You can use AIDA, HDTune, CrystalDiskInfo, and several others available. Alternatively you can use any Linux boot disk and run command line options/GUI programs readily available to check - but off the top of my head I do not know the command line arguments.

Thanks for the info.

I'll test those when I'll get back the laptop.

I've repass checkdisk without any errors.

I've been able to pull out, some info about the bump files (over time) if that can help out.

I've put the new windows updates and a new graphic driver offered by Windows.

Here the data about the crashes:
