7950 - Extremely low FPS/score investigation

Thread Starter
This is what I get at stock settings:

If I put the power limit +20%

I get a score of 990

What the hell is wrong? I have to mention the ASIC is 55.9%. I am thinking the over current protection kicks in since this card pulls so much current due to its low ASIC.

Asked for an RMA but you know what it is, they will likely say it is a driver problem.

I had issues very similar to this when i upgraded from 6870 to 7950. Even after I used atiman to remove old drivers, the issue still existed. I remedied my problem by reinstalling a fresh windows 7, and there was a night and day difference
