My kids rig. Evga with XSPC block and Evga backplate. It's the winning way. biggrin.gif

The new look XSPC is sexy but it's not compatible with flat pcie plugs. Eh, well you could do it with some dremeling.

Bundy never tested the 680 blocks. The 7970 XSPC block blows but the 680 is a diamond. Also, Bundys test are not that thorough fyi, no vrm testing etc. ALso, 680s are not that hot so any half decent block will do actually. Ironically, for 7970s, I would rather have ek then all the one Bundy picked for the vrm performance. He weighted the other better but their vrm cooling suck compared to ek.

True that. I did notice the 680 block does actively cool the vrm. Good point thumb.gif. Still, no backplate and the evga's are too flimsy (i've used them before). Itching to go with HK since its darn good quality biggrin.gif

Hey werm....what kind of pump do you use again. I thought it was something like THIS?? I just remember you and B neg going back and forth so I forgot who liked what. tongue.gif
Looking for something small yet powerful....and I thought I remember you have always had good experiences with that. If it's even the right one...
