[Build Log] Monstas Inside! (Monsta rads, custom MM case, Titan SLI) - Page 42

I need the green led ones. I buy them amazon since they will accept any defective one back w/ free return. They're decent fans and look good too. Nothing uber since I'm running 28 fans now so it don't break the piggy. I bought some fan hubs from ppcs and that will help organize the many, many fans thumb.gif

edit: btw, those have lower performance compared to the ones i have smile.gif

Are you sleeving the OCZ PSU?
I had the green ones, they were still ... questionable. It felt like the air was going out to the sides like a perfectly flat cone

Wow that's a massive amount of fans. I can't imagine running that many......especially since the fans I use are ~20 bucks a piece. redface.gif
Even ordered the smaller CaseLabs SM5 so I wouldn't need to go all out with fans.

I've had 26 of the blue led ones in my old DD. Solid performance with leds. As I've said before, most appealing to me is that I can drop the voltage very low. My next option, Yates, don't go that low.

God no!!! I did a 1kw for my old 800D build and it was such a pita. Ordered some Bitfenix green sleeved extensions. The TechFlex Cleancut sleeve is for the fans and other wiring in the case.

yeah, might as well. The Monsta rads look "thin" relative to the case's huge and cavernous bottom chamber. Push/pull will make them much more "bulkier" looking wink.gif

I haven't gotten a reply from Alex to order a second one. In the mean time, I'm still juggling the idea to sell the Koolance res and top and keep my 35x. Also, I'm ready to ditch the dye, its staining stuff and its a pita to clean it up. Also, buyers of preowned water stuff are getting very picky of having stains on their stuff. Just gonna switch to good old distilled. Will also make the bay reservoirs stand out more.

Also my MCP 35X pump when i put power to it sometimes the impeller will not turn.. and i have to smack it with my hand to get it going.

That happens to mine, especially when power is cut all of a sudden. Leave it powered off for 5-10 minutes and it comes up. Or you can slap it silly tongue.gif

I've was warned (2011) not to cut them off so it was a super challenging sleeving job. This time i left it as is. I got this unit for a super low price and I'll leave it stock in case i sell it. Glad to hear nothing happened with the caps off thumb.gif

Just hate thinking ima have to remove the side of the case to slap the pump sometimes...

I may add a mcp 655 with the g 1/4 threads and speed control to avoid that XD

I mean the MCP 35X is suposed to be Swidttechs flagship pump this should not be happening to a pump like this..
