GL, hope they get you a new one quickly!

The Horizon mb helps a ton. I don't have a gushing flow of liquid to contend with. I just let it drain and pull it out.

The card is going out today. Zotac approved my rma yesterday and I'm hoping to have a better working replacement soon thumb.gif

Hey wermad, could you do me a favor and measure that 3x 5.25" bay. I am thinking about building a fully custom case from scratch and might use one of those bays from MM

Crappy news: one card was rma'd since it was a good 20°c hotter then the rest. Mb was acting fishy lately. Turns out one of the pcie slots has gone bad. That's getting returned. I love the audio on the Sniper3 so its still my #1 choice atm. Contemplating too:

UP7 (uber pricey but seems better at oc'ing and xspc makes a block for it!)
MVE (just missed one sold on ebay for $240, would love to slap a block on that too).
i dont own one, but i like the up7 better for the pci-e line speeds. not that x8 3.0 is bad now as the asus would have for your set up. i would love to dream about having the up7, but then i would have to buy more gpu's to use it to it's potential. let me know when you are done with the sniper. i would like to put a bid in on it

I say stick to the Sniper 3. New stuff should be coming out in a couple of months! I think I saw the same MVE on eBay too but had to force myself to behave. And although this doesn't apply to your build, Newegg had a MVG open box at a steal. Had to walk out of the room and sit in front of the TV for a bit to pass on that tongue.gif

He wermad, cool rig, MASSIVE!!
I'm thinking of building a quad sli in parallel like you.
Do you have any idea as to how much flow you are gettiing?
Are temps pretty consistent across your 4 cards?

Sticking with the sniper since its cheaper, better onboard audio, and the green still matches my build's color. Thanks for the psu deal btw thumb.gif

biggrin.gif. I know how hard it is to resist the temptation. I've seen a few preowned again on amazon for slightly less but I'm still weary of buying preowned and getting another finicky one.

Thanks! Temps are very consistant under idle. Load, well, each card has a slight variance but its not too dramatic (1-2°c). I've always been a big fan of parallel flows on multi gpus. With this new case, the mb sits horizontally and there's always a pocket of air stuck between the cpu and the first gpu. I've switched to series flow and I"m hoping this bubble/pocket of air flushes it out faster. Also, the increased pressure should help flow a bit (though its pretty good under parallel). Who knows....if I don't like it, I'll go back to parallel.

Btw, You won't notice a big different in temps when doing parallel vs series. I did a bit of testing a while ago and at most, it was about a degree of difference between both. With fittings, parallel tends to be more expensive, so series is a bit more appealing.
