I don't understand here. Are you expecting more flow in series?

a slight increase due to the slight decrease in restriction. Ultimately, it makes it easy for me to service the gpu(s) by dealing with one connector rather then two. We'll see how it fairs.

I thought the same thing when redoing my rig. Opted for series for ease of use over performance. I've seen a 4c increase in temps on the GPU, but that doesn't really bother me as they're running at 22c while folding and clocked at 960.

Good luck with the RMA Wermad! wink.gif

I think you have it the other way around. There would be less flow, more restriction in serial over parallel. Think about it, would you be able to drink a coke with two straws side-by-side, or with two straws end-to-end?

Its not sucking its pushing water wink.gif, so take the straw analogy, your pushing through two straws, so flow is being reduced. The blocks aren't severely restrictive as the cpu block (I opened them up) so it should provide a good kick. When I plumbed two gpu while testing my mb, I had two cards in parallel and for the last two, i went with series. I started the series, there was an instant and high gush of water (spilled a bit) out of the reservoir. Also, i do recall connecting to rads in parallel and noticed less flow versus putting them in series.

Once I get my mb, I'll do some testing and find out smile.gif

Hey Werm, why you no semi-parallel? That would be a better trade off than full parallel?

It's still the same. Fill you mouth with water and try to blow (push) that water out into a glass using two straws next to each other. Andgain with the straws end to end.
