Another one of the lucky ones i guess...other than a few visual bugs it runs fine for me, although i'll say that this last update they put out did chop a frames off, I probably lost 5 or so FPS, not sure why that would be.

i'll have to fire up radeon pro and see if that was the difference maker.

You are disabling Post FX in-game. Regardless of whether it is disabled or not the actual graphic option will always stay in the graphics settings menu. You are removing Post FX from the game, not the settings menu. SO even after porperly disabling Post FX the setting will still remain in the graphics menu, dont touch it though as otherwise you will screw it up and will have to edit the XML file once again.

Core, memory overclocking barely affects any games in general, not just FC3.

hmm, ok

btw I got 71 - 90 FPS when using maxed out settings (except PostFX which I'm completely disabled using tutorial on here) with 2 x MSAA @ 1539 / 7920 with my Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming @DSR 2560 x 1440, is that normal though? or I got lower FPS than the others?

Sounds about right. You are getting the expected performance maybe I would even go as far as saying slightly better than I would expect. So you are good.
