The cause of this is the post fx setting. When set to high, very high or ultra, looking at the sky lags horribly, which makes no sence to me at all. When set to medium, I gain some extra fps in general, but there's also absolutely no framedrop when looking at the sky, with all the other setting on the highest. I guess I'll be playing with medium post fx for now, bus has anyone else got this problem? Hopefully a new driver or patch can fix it. Running 1.01, catalyst 12.11 beta 8.

Is that 7850 a 1gb, or 2gb model?
I have a 7870 with similar clock settings and I find that the memory usage straddles the 1gb mark. If you only have 1gb, that would explain the low fps when you crank it to high, and when you drop it to med it has less to load in the vram freeing the memory and causing the fps to go back up.
