I am building a water chiller utilizing a window ac unit, and my electrical knowledge is limited so if you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. This will be completely enclosed in a metal box with PC case fans cooling the condenser and a built in water pump. Now i want to power the pump and and fans with a low watt (inexpensive) power supply. If there is a better/easier way please let me know. My first question is, is there a way to power the ac unit and psu on a single plug? Maybe spliced the power cords together or something. My second question is, what is the easiest way to have one switch turn on both the unit and psu at the same time? I'm most likely going to use the switch on the ac unit to start, but i may go to something that looks a little nicer later. What is the best ways to this?

I'm always looking for input, so if you think of something i didn't it would be appreciated thank you.
