[TT] OCZ served a subpoena by SEC who is conducting an investigation into the company - Page 6

OCZ has a history of stock fraud. Just last year that got in trouble again. Their products also have a much higher failure rate than competitors which doesn't help investor confidence.

Sandforce was unreliable, and, "returns rate" as I mentioned in another post doesn't account for user error and drives that actually aren't faulty. Just the rate at which drives were returned. It doesn't show the rate of which they were actually broken.

OCZ went 3 series then Octane and Petrol then 4 series. The Octane and Petrol were Indilinx, not used by anyone but OCZ and their failure rate was well above average.

What makes this year special? Perhaps the fact that ssd prices have dropped like rocks over the past year and slimmer profit margins caught up to them?

Ive also had 3 and all still work fine

Vertex 2 60GB
Vertex 3 MAX IOPS 120GB
Vertex 4 120GB

From what ive read the problem is fixed with the new ones and not that common with the old..
