Success of overclocking

Thread Starter
Hey everybody just wanted to post my overclocking results through a week of adjusting and gradually bumping up my FSB up where I wanted to attain. Running on air. Currently I have an E6400 running and 3.2ghz with a 400FSB. I have been running it through Orthos for about 10 hours or so and will continue to run different programs to test out stability, so far I have no problems of crash or blue screens. My voltage has actually never been bumped past 1.3V and according to CPU-Z it's running less that 1.3V. My E6300 previously, before I built another computer for a relative for Christmas with it was using 1.4V to get the 400FSB with that one. This CPU seems to be running cooler and using less power and stable. I like it so far. Let me know what ya guys think.

Here's an attachment of my Specs and Temperatures etc. Tell me how it looks.

Kevin

Nice one. I just got a 8 hour stable 470 FSB on my E6300. Load tmperature is at 50ºC, TAT is 45ºC.

Check my build log for more details.

Hehe, I'm sure I could go past 400FSB but then I'd start OCing my Ram which is rated at DDR2-800, no need to do that right now when as far as gaming and programs I already have overkill with the CPU lol. I just wanted to get to 400 and leave it there. Maybe in the future I'll start adjusting that. As of right now I'm satisfied hehe. Or if I could some watercooling through to my NB I'd go further on my board but without bumpin the voltage on my MCH or my VCORE I'm just gona leave it at here.
