Now, in 2012, MS have the gall to strap down something as simple as an Internet Browser, and even LEADERBOARDS (This change came around some time back. Before then silver sub could still post onto Leaderboards) to a $60 service... And they still have the nerve to crap up every, single, page, with, an ad.
Again, let me reiterate that if we had this coversation 1-2 yrs ago, I would have agreed with you.

I don't think XLives price has been justified since the Blades Dash. It's all about advertising now and has been since they launched the NXE. They have their hands in more than one cookie jar IMHO

NXE struck a good balance tho, and was my favorite UI. Ever since the wii look-alike/Metro change over, it pretty much went to hell.

Now with all these ad tiles and "suggested games" (none of which I want mind you), the Metro v2 interface is pretty cluttered...

If you ask me, Everything since the BLADES has been trash. That old interface was so slick, responsive and easy to navigate. By far my favorite console dash.

Well the facts remain.

Looking at what MS did to the 360, and how the PS3 was turned into swiss cheese, and with the Wii U off to a shaky start. At this rate we may as well buy Ouyas lol tongue.gif

So, um, we can all agree that xbox live should be free now, right?

It's not happening.

I'll probably end up getting an Xbox 720, but I won't invest into it as heavily as I have with the 360.

Xbox live's customer support is trash as well. I use to play xbox, then I ran into problems with a year subscription and they wouldn't refund it. That was the only time I bought any type of xbox live. It was their fault too. mad.gif
