Let me start by saying, I have a Llano, not a Trinity. I know my laptop stock settings will clock up to 1.5GHz and the turbo allows for 2.4GHz. The turbo speeds seem to only kick in under certain conditions. None of these conditions prove to be preent when I use my Laptop.. meaning my laptop pretty much never turbo boosts. I can use k10stat however to force the clocks up. I do not know if k10stat is working with Trinity CPUs yet (or ever will). If you want anything faster than the max non turbo speed, I assume you need to overclock manually. You can always make sure that you have the most up to date drivers. AMD Overdrive may support these mobile chips, you could try using that to hit higher frequencies.

My HP g7 has no problem going above and beyond without the help of a added application. But, I am a very heavy user over all... thumb.gif
