I have installed Windows 8 on my Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop and I am pretty happy about overall experience. Just after a couple of weeks, I don't even miss a bit of the start menu.

I also have another instance of Windows 8 running as a Virtual machine to access using Windows RDP. I can do it with the "desktop" RDP program or with the new "Modern UI" Remote desktop App.

What is odd is that when connecting using the Modern UI Remote Desktop App, the "corners" call to the local machine and not to the remote, making the remote desktop app pretty useless.

Has anybody else has noticed this behavior?
