I have a hyper 212 EVO and another 20 mm case fan. I also leave my case opened all the time.

Do you think 109 is a good price for it?

I have a Phenom II x4 955 @4.0GHz , x3 710 @3.6GHz and a FX-4100 @4.8GHz on my UD3 rev 1.1 with no problems. None of these are x6 however as long as you get a board with LLC (Rev 1.1 and up) it should be fine. The new rev 3.0 boards are really nice and I believe they feature UEFI. biggrin.gif

I paid $149 for mine and I dont regret it at all. $109 is a steal. thumb.gif

Oh well I ordered already without checking the rev. This is what I got

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514

Could someone please tell me the rev number of that specific board? I couldn't find it on the specs page.

It says rev 1.0 on it. Next to the 'Designed in Taipei'. Doesn't have to be though.

Oh ok frown.gif

Should I cancel my order? Whats the difference between rev 1.0 and 1.1?

EDIT: I checked on Amazon and there were a several UD3s for sale at different prices but they all had the same picture and it said "rev 0.1" on it. Even the one that costs 170 $.

I'm using rev 1.0. A little funny BIOS at times, but other than that, no issues at all. I can only tell you what Gigabyte told me about the changes.

"On the rev 1.2 there is a change to JMicron eSATA controller from Marvell on the earlier boards.

On the rev 1.2 there are 2x IEEE 1394 on the back panel and none internal headers. On earlier version there where 1x on back panel and 1x on internal header.

From 1.0 to 1.1 only some minor design changes."

That's all I know. redface.gif

But I don't think you should cancel your order. It's a very good motherboard. I'm concidering another one. smile.gif
