ok i got everything setup and folding but one command didnt work im just wondering if i need to make sure that command needs to be running...

./16corehack.sh

i typed it in and it said no such file or directory? Is this because you have updated it since the original post?

Thanks!

bigadv in Windows? And on a 3930? I've heard it needs 16 physical cores now. Physical, not logical.

You don't have 16 physical cores. If you did get one, a 3930 wouldn't complete it in time.

i finish 8101 in time (6 hours to spare biggrin.gif)
TPF was 32 minutes

if you ran the corehack and the folding@home v6 client has a username, passkey and team configured
and you finished 10 WU's with SMP (non-bigadv)
run this:
Code:
./fah6 -smp 12 -bigadv &

i recommend a 4.6/4.7Ghz i7 3930k/3960x and a 1866Mhz or higher DDR3 ram

you didnt complete 10 normal (SMP) WU's or you didnt overclocked your cpu/ram

dont forget to put the Execution Cap to 95% or higher
