Are you the first one here to have 8800GTX sli?
No, I think it has to do with the fact that I dont have an SLI bridge for the cards, I called eVGA and they said the same thing. As for the first person having 8800GTX sli, not sure, however, I can just about guarantee im the first person to have 8800GTX sli w/o an sli bridge lol!

All motherboard connections are connected well, and I am using all 4 pci-e connectors. Im really not *that* upset about this, as I figured right after I ordered that this might happen. So I have been prepared for it. Hopefully I will hear back from Nvidia tomorrow.

*Update*

In regards to securing an SLI Bridge.

Well, it has been afew days since I emailed the person at Nvidia and I have yet to hear back from him. I decided I should call the PR Manager that gave me her card at the Nvidia Reality Tour, and see what she suggests I do. I also called eVGA, and they have all but washed their hands of my problem, saying its something I need to take up with Nvidia. I wouldnt be upset by this if it wasnt for the fact that I have bought a 5200 FX, 7800 GT, 7900 GT SC, 8800 GTX, and an old NF41 motherboard from them. After purchasing over $1700 in hardware they cant send me a $15 dollar piece of hardware? Grrrr. I find it hard to believe that a company with such a great reputation would leave a loyal customer out in the cold like this. I attempted to register the motherboard on their website and it did let me using the number that is placed under the UPC, as seen in the picture below. Hopefully this will allow me to get some better customer service. Anyways, thanks for reading my semi-rant! Post back with words of support... or to tell me to ****!

*Note that my CPU-Z also says eVGA...

yea, register the card. then call, I called one time without registering my card, and they wouldn't do anything. They told me, go online, register, then call back.

Well it should still give you the option for sli because you don't need a SLI bridge to run sli, the bridge makes it faster but still can run sli, I can sli without the bridge, it goes through the motherboard instead of the bridge.

Maby it's differen't for the 8800 vs the 7900 but it shouldn't because it goes through the motherboard.
