What sites should I be scoping out?

More specifcally, I want to try and buy a Canon 50mm f/1.8 (Nifty Fifty).

that lens is already an amazing deal at $100. i dont think i have ever seen it go on sale.

there are deals but none that are any better than the usual bundle packages that canon/nikon offer throughout the year. camera deals are more on P&S models. i saw a few deals on DSLR stuff in the paper here but nothing that blew my mind as being a deal of the century

Even like $10-20 off would be nice for me.

$10 off on stuff that is over $200 is more like just getting free shipping pretty much lol. not a major savings in my opinion. this coming from a college student with little to practically no income right now tongue.gif

Heh, that's true and all. Everywhere I've checked in the past week only has it for like $110 though and like the person before you said it should only cost around $100.

And I do remember seeing it for like $80-90 in the past before... =/

? im the only one to post in this thread. i was generalizing on the $200 or over. as most camera lenses are well over $200. so getting $10-20 off isnt anything worth writin home about lol

i paid $100 for my copy but the price has gone up to $110 since then. so the lens is valued at $110 new. you are not likely to see it cheaper for new anywhere. thats why i said you should buy used if you are trying to save money thumb.gif

Anyways, yeah, I guess I'll just wait some more. I don't urgently need this lens. Thanks for the info, mate!
