[Build Log] STH10 - Project Fill it UP - Page 2

the quad core sandy bridge 2011 cpus are full enabled, ther are no 4 cores disabled, because there are only 4 cores to begin with. Its a fully enabled cpu.

But the six cores cpus are basically what should have been an 8 core cpu, that didnt quite make it in the end of the manufacturing process with all core working.

THats what i meant.

As an additional question, does anyone know if theres gonna be a dual 8000 series high end GPU card ?
Cause i´ll be needing two of those for my build to work.
THe last water cooling capable amd gpu is 6990 and thats a bit old.

Congratulations Dr. Bytales, your build looks nice. smile.gif I can't wait to see the end results. drum.gif

Here's something new

The Bit fenix Card reader and the 80mm fans mounted through fan adapters

Here is the planned Fan Setup

I plan on the following:
1)GPu Loop will cool 4 GPUs, either from 4 Cards or from 2 cards
2)Cpu Loop will cool CPU and aqua aero
1)Gpu loop wil consist of the followoing:
120.4 aquaaero with pump radiator
120.4 radiator with dual loop, 70% will feed the gpu loop
120.4 radiator with dual loop, 70% will feed the gpu loop
2)Cpu loop will consist of the following
120.2 aquaaero with pump radiator
120.4 radiator with dual loop, 30% will feed the cpu loop
120.4 radiator with dual loop, 30% will feed the cpu loop
There are gonna be in total 12 sanyo denkis as push or pull fans with shroud, for the 3x 120.4 radiators
12s Nanoxia 3 pin fans for the 3x 120.4 radiator
2 Nanoxia PWM Fans for the 120.2 radiator pull
2 Noctua PWM 120mm fan for the 120.2 radiator push
2x80 mm noctua case fan
1xnanoxia 120m case fan
4x40mm noctua case fan
I allready figured it out how will they be controlled
12 Sanyo denkis through 3 power adjust, 4 each per PU
4nanoxia fans for the 120.4 radiator each from the 3 pin chanell of the aqua aero in total 12
2 of the 40mm fans will be fed from slot 1 of the aqua aero 3 pin fan togther with the 4 nanoxia
2 of the 40mm fans will be fed from slot 3 of the aqua aero 3 pin fan togther with the 4 nanoxia
2 pull nanoxia pwm will be controlled from the pwm port of the aqua aero for the 120.2 fan
2 push ncotua of the 120.2 are from motherboard cpu 1 and cpu 2 dan headers
2x80mm fans and 120m noctua chasis fan are controlled from the chasis headers of the motherboard
Mortherboard will be asus maximum V extreme.

um.... sub'd? rolleyes.gif

looks like this is gunna be awsome man smile.gif... and u could have picked up a 3930k at MC for $399.99 on black friday btw... $70 for 2 more cores seemed work it imo... not to mention i like the idea of 64GB or 2400MHz RAM rolleyes.gif

I'm still looking into Molex/Sata Power management.
The evga Supernova 1500 has 12 sata power and 8 4pin-Molex Connectors.

Can i power 2x4tb hdd(3.5"), one 2,5", and one ptical disc with a single molex connector ?
I was planning on using a Bit Fenix Molex To 4x SATAPower Extension 20cm.

Would the current be enough ?

I dont know how much a molex can suck, and how much a 3,5" hdd, a 2,5" hdd and an optical disc demands.
Can anyone guess if thats gonna be ok ?
That's no problem power wise, but I would really recommend just using the actual sata connectors, as it's possible for the cheap molex to data connectors to cause slight instability... If you are going to all this trouble and building this crazy build, I would do a full custom harness... Will look absolutely amazing and will let you make every cable the exact length you need it to be smile.gif

Unfortunately i have no ideea what you are talking about, let alone do the stuff you described.
Perhaps you can help mie with a link, or some explanations ?

Oh, i want planning on gettin a cheap connector.

This one,
Molex To 4x SATAPower Extension 20cm (http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/premium-modding/alchemy-cables#specs)
Look rather well built
