Funny, I thought only publishers did that for the PC platform, guess everything is fair game now.

Have they not seen recent Halo and Black Ops sales?

2 games don't change the fate of the dying platforms. All 3 consoles are rather outdated and are at the end of their product life cycle. Gamers think it's time for new hardware, the sales figures are evidence of it.

Maybe companies should think about why no one likes their games rather than blame everyone else for not wanting their ****.

This is pretty much my stance on it.

I also don't know anyone who hasn't had a current gen console fail on them - with the exception of the Wii. Nintendo always build their consoles like tanks. Either way these failures isn't really going to help sales.

theres going to be NO console crash LMAO you know why console numbers are low right now?? because the 360&ps3 hung around TOOOOO long and people are getting restless waiting for the new consoles from MS and sony the end..... thumb.gif

Would some devs even have as much enthusiasm if it weren't for consoles? There must be a good reason a lot of them are sticking in that side.

I don't think you understand how business works. The next year should be the best year ever for the PS3 and 360. More people will own them then any other year. Best Buy by my house still had Wii U's in stock Wensday mourning left over from Sunday. Not to many people are picking up console games like they used to. Yes the big games still sell well, but most games being purchased are iOS games.

Just remember, it's all about the software.

Odd. The companies that are capsizing don't point at pirates as a contributing factor, while the ones that are thriving claim pirates are taking jobs from working class people (pirates.)

And no, I don't even play consoles at all.
Hopefully they get looked after under a new developer. Never good to hear when these guys and girls get laid off.

Not to be rude, but the PC can do everything the console can and more. Its an obsolete piece of tech. Sure its simple and cheap (for the consumer) but the advantages you get for the PC triumph the simpleness of the console. If people only took the time out of their days to learn about all the cool stuff a PC can already do.
What's going on.
