Need your help Corsair H60 cooler, want to change the paste.

Thread Starter
So i bought some Arctic MX-4. Just wondering how to apply this to my FX 4170. I know to clean off the residue with alcohol. Do i apply it as a pea size and attach the H60? Or must i spread it out?

Any help be appreciated.

i would do the pea size method. It should be enough. However before putting everything back together test your temperatures. Sometimes I find myself applying thermal paste for the second time.

pea-size in the middle. Never spread paste, as it can cause air-bubbles, and lessen it's effectiveness.
