9800GT Or GT 620?

Let me preface this by saying that this is a build that will be for a seven year old to play WoW on. Doesn't need to look fantastic, just needs to play for as cheaply as possible. I was wondering which one I should go for at a low price point. The 9800gt I'm looking at is on a 128-bit interface with 1GB of GDDR3. The gt620 is a 64-bit bus with 2GB of GDDR3. Both are exactly the same price, and I'm not terribly familiar with early Nvidia cards, so any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

If all you want to spend is around 60$ or less, go for the 6670 (46$) which outperforms both:

Just for reference : 6670 GDDR5 > GT630 GDDR5 > 6670 DDR3 > GT630 DDR3 >9800GT> GT620 > GT610 = GT520 = GT430

I ended up going with the 620, as the 9800 was sold out already and I didn't want to lose my chance. If I was going for around $60, I probably would have gone that route, but I was looking at cards that were $20 on Black Friday specials, which was pretty hard to pass up. I had offered the buyer an extra 7770 that I have laying around for about $75, but he didn't want to spend quite that much just yet.

EDIT: Thanks for the quick response though!

GT 620 is a piece of trash compared to 9800GT as is the GT 630 too - the pixel and texture fillrate on these cards is 3 times smaller compared to 9800GT, and memory bandwidth is 2 times smaller; the 9800GT will annihilate them big time, unless WOW will be played at 1024x768 resolution with no AA - than perhaps there will be no difference, but on the good side at least the GT620 is new so you have got a warranty right?

A 7 year old play WOW? He...

Yes, the card is new and comes with a 2-year warranty, and they intend to upgrade the card later on I think. He just wanted to keep the budget as low as possible for now.
