problems with overclocking nvidia

so, when overclocking a nvidia, i know you have to go to cmd, regedit/ hkey_local_machine/software/nvidia corporation ect.

my problem is that when in the software section, nvidia corp doesnt show up. i checked a bunch of subfolders there like microsoft, which had direct x in it, but i couldn't find nvidia corp. anywhere. i know i have that card, so whats the deal with this situation?

Just install MSI afterburner, EVGA presision, or about any other GPU overclocking tool, and get to work

Which card do you have? It sounds like you are talking about Coolbits or something from the Win XP days - it is much easier now.
