back for some e6600 advice

Thread Starter
Alright, so alot of you know that I did what appeard to be trading down (x6800 for an e6600 with a good board). alright, that statement is completely false. right now, I have the e6600 on air (tuniq) @ 3.0 gHz (just getting started...). I left the vcore to auto, and under full load, core temp readings dont break 40C!!! How is this?!

I am assuming you meant owns..yea it does...but I was hinting at more of the ocing potential of this cpu...it completly outdoes my x6800..although that was on a really crappy board.

Yea, I am probally gonna be getting a e6600 or e6300, it doesn't seem worth it to me to spend money and get anything higher. Your better off getting a better board. and OCing higher. You should be able to get that cpu to like 3.5 atleast. You just gotta watch your temps.

overclock is pretty good, but, keep going
and make sure to keep the C2D under 60

PWNS is an intensified version of OWNS, caps also implies the same effect

My Vcore is at 1.35V @ 3.4ghz right now. Idle is 35ºC and load is 45ºC. (Using TAT)

Good temperature, I'm glad you like your new CPU and HSF.

How so? You should be able to get 3.6ghz with that ram at stock.
