First build $500 without case, PSU, and hard drive

Hi, my friend have recommend me to this forum for help.
I already have a mid tower case, PSU, and hard drive that my friend give me so I don't need those.
Now I have no clue about what component to use at all but i do know I want a decent GPU for playing games.
The CPU doesn't really matter.
I also need a wireless interface.
thanks for any suggestions.

Important I live in Canada.

Before i put up a build, I just have a few questions

1. do you need a monitor?

2. do you want to overclock?

3. do you need an OS?

4. what is your PSU?

As a general build sans case, psu, and hdd, this is what I would put together for $500.

This will give you some serious processing power, a GPU that can still hold it's own weight easily, and easy OC potential with a K series CPU, a great cooler, and amazing RAM.

Drawbacks of this set is that it leaves you no money room for an OS, your case will need to come with fans, all of your cables need to be included with your components, and you'd need your PSU to be at least enough to run the equipment.

1.) Monitor is not included in the 500 price range, but you can suggest me one.
2.) Yes, if the price point allows. Again CPU power is not as important as GPU for me.
3.) No, I'm a student, MSDN offer free OS.
4.) 650 watts corsair one, my friend give me it after he got a new one. He told me this should be more than enough for me.
Also I live in Canada.

Well, if OS and PSU are no problem, then you're off to a good start!

Is this a good deal? http://ncix.ca/products/?sku=58573&vpn=012-P3-1571-KR&manufacture=eVGA&promoid=1030

By the way is there a good wireless adapter here? http://ncix.ca/products/index.php?minorcatid=1004

Yes, deff buy that one, the Extreme 4 is a great board

Looks like a good deal, i would go for it.

http://ncix.ca/products/?sku=62842&vpn=PCE-N15&manufacture=ASUS&promoid=1030 looks good to me. I have had no personal experience with wifi cards as i do not use one in my system. this one seems to get good reviews though.

Just remember that you will ALMOST always need CPU power to do as many things with your GPU especially If you a student, But a Intel i5 3750k sounds like it will do the job and with a Hyper 212 you could pick the clocks up a little.

But overall the hardware looks nice, Good choice of parts and hope all goes good with your build!
