Thread Starter
following your advice, i have done this, i have basically cut some MDF? that was 3mm thick to 14"x19" and put it under the mobo tray but above the MDF that was already there,
this way its all hidden and i can keep that ugly leg there permanently!
already looks neater! thanks for that!

could take me a while! 12mm MDF takes a long while to cut!, that 2ft part at the back took the best part of over 5 minutes -.- but i know it is well worth it, also on the plus side it will fit the biggest water cooling system there is i hope! (not for another 4 years xD) but as i said in the first post, this case is for the future! i have decided that nothing will be glued so anything can be changed if i feel the need such as the front of the case, im not looking forward to the drive bays!

heres the two colour designs for the case door, i am either going to do red and white, black and red or white and blue
my preferance is currently on white and blue

the mesh thing in the top left corner is going to be an 80mm fan, there might be a couple more on the case door yet but this is the final design. also i plan to have the door hinged (hinges connected to the rear panel) its the only way i can think of doing it other than screwing it closed every time.

thanks for looking

I'm looking forward to checking out your build. One thing that comes to my mind it sounds like it might end up getting heavy. You may want to consider some casters of some sort under it. smile.gif
Good luck with the build!

thanks!, dont worry there on the books!, ive been looking for some very small ones, the desk will be on my desk behind my monitor and the other tower moved elsewhere, i have considered putting the big tower on the floor with standard casters but it will hide my work, i will have to see how good my work is first!

thanks

I'm sure its going to look great. Are you putting in any lighting?

If you are it would look cool to have the light shining behind the motherboard giving it a glow.

hi, yes there will be lighting, it will all be either blue or red biggrin.gif, i have also considered yellow? then again ive considered plenty of things.

heres a photo to show it works!

thats my hardware that i have now, 4gb ram, nvidia g210, foxconn g31-mx.. all not too good apart from the core2quad q6600 , the better stuff comes christmas! (apart from the 3870x2, that just doesnt have sufficient power!)

thanks
