I'd spend the extra couple of dollars for a HAF 912, also if you can shell out another $40 the 7950 is well worth it. But that free Far Cry 3 with purchase for the 7870 is so awesome lol. Anyway the extra $40 would be well worth it to get a 7950.

would this 7950 be good? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202006&Tpk=N82E16814202006 comes with a 3-game bundle, which is cool, and a rebate that puts it at $280.

took your advice on the case, too. seen that one around, always thought it looked nice. no problem fitting a long card in there, right? the one i mentioned says it's 11.43" long.

any thoughts or suggestions on the other stuff? this is my first Intel build, the one i'm currently using is an old AMD 7850 BE (oc'd to 3.31 GHz).
