My upgrade path,looking for advice

Thread Starter
Hello to all smile.gif So,in 2009 i bought my first ever "decent" PC by myself for gaming. It's specs: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400,9800GT,4GB RAM,500GB Hitachi HDD,Gigabyte GA-31 something mobo,400W fortron and some random mid-ish tower case.
So,after my PSU failing me ,i bought myself CM 460W Elite. Then my 9800gt failed me(baked it few days ago, working now biggrin.gif) i got myself HD 6850 Vapor-X Sapphire.
October the 1st 2012: I bought myself i5-3570k,Hyper 212+,Asrock Z77 Extreme4 ,G.Skill RIpjaws X 2x4GB
I got my CM460W and HD 6850 from my old PC,the HDD and the case too.
Now,after few months of using my PC,i started considering some upgrades soon.
The upgrades:(i'm looking for advices on them since the only thing i can change is the things i haven't bought yet)
Getting Seasonic 620W - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096
Is this a good PSU? Will it deliver enought juicy for even HD 7950 crossfire? According to PSU calculator,it will but i want to be sure.
Later after that : This Case since my current one is small and there isn't any airflow at all, only one 60mm fan that exhaust the heat from my hyper 212+ http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00001772
I'm going to add 4 fans to the case with the time passing by: one front, one bottom, two top..One on my Hyper 212+ for push/pull config
My question is will my case deliver nice airflow? I will use the case with my next build too and no,i can't make the budget bigger, the price is big already here in Bulgaria. Question 2:is there a good cable management using this case? Will it support going watercooling H100 probably ?
And the Last Update but not the least what I'm going to do is change my GPU somewhere in late Spring to this bad boy: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125414
And with all this upgrades my final rig,my actually first made by myself build will contain this parts:
CASE: Thermaltake Commander MS-I
PSU: SeaSonic S12II 620 Bronze 620W
CPU: i5-3570k@ 4.5Ghz 1.24V Offset +0.005V
RAM: G.SKILL RIpjaws X 2x4GB
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212+ Push/Pull
GPU: HD 7950 Gigabyte WF3
HDD:500GB Hitachi
Mobo: Asrock Z77 Extreme4
With everything finished, cable management finished, will the build be good, nicely airflowed, everything as good as it can get?
Thanks in advance for taking your time smile.gif

The psu can power that 7950 easily, no worries. It is very high quality. The case should be fine and it seem slike the airflow is ok. My case looks similar just bigger and I couldn't complain about the airflow. You will probably need to get an ssd after a while but that's not so important.

Thanks for helping and taking your time writing this answer smile.gif Appreciate it.
Btw,the site from which i'm going to be buying is this one: http://iskampc.com/pc-components/pc-cases-page-full_list.html?&currency=usd
If you have the time, give a look at the cases i listed and if you find something in the 70$ price range,i would really appreciate it if you give me a link.
And after everything i wrote down,do you think i'm going in the right direction with my build? It's my first one so mistakes may occur and i won't get offended if someone tells me what i did wrong.
For the SSD: I just don't mind waiting and they're darn expensive here in Bulgaria.
P.S. WIll CM Elite 431 be better case than the Tt i've chosen?
P.S.2 Will the Tt take the 11.5 inch long GIgabyte WF3 HD 7950 and will it take Hyper 212+ or even Noctua DH-14 or something like that, don't remember the name?

It really doesn't matter. All cases from the thermaltake v4 black edition to the thermaltake comander msIII on that list have good air flow possibilities. You just have to make the choice of which one you want. The problem is that those cases all don't have wonderful cable management. I have the thermaltake spacecraft which looks alike to the ones listed and the cable management isn't the best. I think you picked you the right components and have a nice build there otherwise. Which exact hdd model do you have?

SSD prices in Switzerland suck too wink.gif

I have this HDD: Hitachi HDP725050GLA360 ATA Device (500 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA-II)
I took the information from Aida64/Everest
For me,airflow is more important than cable management if i have to be honest.Cable management,if it's atleast half decent,i'll be really happy with it.Check my "First Build Ever" pics and look at the cable management there...it's non-existent so everything better than it would be a huge improvement.About the Watercooling, can the case i've chosen have a watercooled CPU? Like using H100? I've read some reviews that it requires a "rare" thin 120 mm fan to avoid conflict between the motherboard and the fan.Are there any ?

Will i benefit a lot from going with the CM Storm Enforcer? http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=3038
Will i have enought space for 11.5inch HD 7950 WF3 gigabyte in it? Will it be custom loop ready?H100i ready? Would i see improvement from going with the Strom Enforcer rather than the Tt Commander MS-I?

Yes the 7950 would fit without a problem but you couldn't use the h100 in the cm storm enforcer. The ms11 also doesn't look it will fit the h100 but I'm not sure. I'm worried the ram slots of the mobo would be in the way. I have a feeling you would be better off with a good air cooler. Well made air coolers can cool as good or even better than the h100 like the nzxt havik 120/140, Thermaltake frio ock or the Phantek ph-tc14pe.

Well for my i5-3570k,i'll stay till it dies.My next rig however,i would want to use the same case but watercooled instead.I was thinking of h100i or custom loop, the budget will decide.I'll do this build in approximately 3-4 years.Yes,i know it's far away but i like to prepare myself from now. What would be the cheapeast but still capable of H100i/h100 or custom loop case? I'm looking into mid.towers, full tower are freaking expensive as f*ck.

I honestly don't know. You could build the h100 into the ms11 but it seems like the mobo might get into the way. You might want to contact Thermaltake because tehy know it better than me. If I look at may case then I would say the h100 wouldn't fit just because my ram slots would be in the way.
