Thread Starter
Haven't given my PC much love lately since for work we use MACs. Have 1000$ to spend what to upgrade?

Your cpu is still good so I would advise you to wait for Intel Haswell. Intel Haswell is the next generation of cpus coming out in 2013. You should also wait for the next generation of graphics cards aswell- both from nvidia and from amd/radeon.

Possible upgrades:
-Graphics Cards
-Case
-motherboard, cpu, and ram

If I were you I wouldn't upgrade at this point. You can replace the graphics card with one or two gtx 680s or two 7970s but then again the new graphics cards will come out in 2013. Other than that, I dont see why you should upgrade anything else from your pc.

If you don't want to wait for the next generation of cpus and gpus, then go for two 7970 GHz edition cards.

2x 7970 SAPPHIRE Vapor-X GHz for $939.98 ( 2 7970s should give you a pretty good fps increase in all the games you play. )
Aside from the graphics cards, you will also get 3 free games ( FarCry3, HitMan, and Sleeping Dogs ) and 20% off Medal of Honor WarFighter Limited Edition digital deluxe game.

Really your system is amazing.
But if you really want to upgrade I would recommend a new graphics card and a new case.
As said above me there are new graphics cards that are coming out early next year so I would just wait on a new graphics card.
