I don't see what is stopping you going AMD since the difference is so ridiculously low in games (fanboys still like to fight over this idk why) and with a nice overclock it will even beat intel. And with the new games coming out it seems that they have taken a step forward for AMD...

Agreed, Intel or AMD would shaft us equally if they could, we as their products consumers need them both as to keep each other in check.

I some times wonder if some of those Intel pro members trolling AMD users are employed by Intel to do exactly that! To keep AMD's reputation suppressed in a bid to keep market domination and high prices resulting in very high profit margins.

Same goes for some so called reviewers, actually.

Disagree to an extent. AMD has reps here, whereas Intel does not. That tells you right there who actually cares about their customers.

Probably. I mean, obviously trolls will be trolls, but I'm sure they'd be happy to take money from Intel to do it. And Intel has proven itself not above playing dirty pool.

I was on the fence about it for awhile, but I went with amd because the difference in gaming at 1080p/1440p is too minuscule to justify the extra $60 for an i5-3570k.

If you can wait until haswell the value proposition might change.

Another looked AMD review thread. mad.gif

The two Crysis 3 threads showing the FX-8350 performance was immediately set up on by Intel trolls and then locked as a result.

every single pro AMD thread gets locked because of those trolls.

ever get the feeling they troll knowing it will cause the thread to get locked?
