FX-8350 worth it for gaming? - Page 5

Nobody is saying the AMD isn't amazing for gaming. They are saying which out performs in games the 8350 vs i5-3570k. You are 100% correct about this statement "for people to say it isn't is just pure ignorance and lack of research" but its just as fitting for those trying to justify that the 8350 out performs vs the 3570k in games.

Definetly worth it, you should'nt have any problem running any game with that specs, and you should be able to push it to 5GHz with no problems unless you get really unlucky with the chip.
For nearly the same price the 3570K games better and consumes much less power.

I'd have to say that the 8350 and the 3570k are pretty much on par with eachother in gaming, for those games like SC2 and Skyrim the only diffrence you'll notice is you min frames, and does it reall matter if you can get 150fps over 130fps??? and if so is it worth the extra $$$?

if power consumption means so much to you why overclock? why not underclock.... your point is invalid

SC2 will bring every single CPU on the market to framerates that are below 30. That is if you play 4v4 or custom games like nexus wars.

great input.... why is it you always come and post AMD hate facts on every thread I read? do you plan on providing any constructive information to this thread? or are you just going to post some "AMD is horrible for gaming" post like you have in all the other ones I'v read?

im just stating facts. not "FX8350 is as good as i5 3570k in gaming" bulcrap. tried playing shogun 2 total war with that FX chip? it would suck hard. and how many amd CPU's have you owned? I've been an amd enthusiast over the years they just suck hard this gen.

rolleyes.gif Prove it, you may not like AMD as all of your bias post shows this, but you really need to start putting up some proof of your statements and stop sending out false information. Your not helping anyone with your bashing of AMD just because you might not like them, doesn't mean that they may not fit someone else's needs. redface.gif
